Last week, I was on the host committee for the BOObies Beauty Fundraiser for Breast Cancer Awareness at Gavert Atelier Salon in Beverly Hills. The event was the perfect finale for Style Seen Daily’s cause to raise $10K in 10 days, in which the funds went towards The National Breast Cancer Foundation. I got to broadcast the event live via Hangw/ and share first-hand how amazing the impact of fundraising can be for survivors.
My mom, a breast cancer survivor, was pampered and given the ultimate relaxing salon & spa day. She got all dolled up. Hair colored and nails manicured – plus a massage! My mom was so touched by the way everyone treated her with such kindness. She was pampered and felt truly special throughout the day. It was great to see all of the the other survivors there being celebrated and meeting all of those who there to support them, including Joanna Krupa of The Real Housewives of Miami. I had known her since the early modeling days and it was great to reconnect – plus my mom was thrilled to meet her!

I got to catch up with fellow TV hosts, Angela Sun and Amy Paffrath who were also there to support. It was so good to see everyone come together for such an important cause!

This event celebrated not only female strength but the strength of local survivors. During the month of October the salon ran an additional special promotion where 100% of select services were donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. Along with this, Style Seen Daily met and exceeded their goal to raise to raise $10k in 10 days!
To top it all off, my mom received a gift bag full of items from Ted Baker, Supra, and more! The stylists, the survivors, the hosts, and friends alike were all so welcoming and warm. Thanks to all who came out to support and to those who donated. It was truly an event to remember – one that will always stay near and dear to mine and my mom’s hearts. Big thanks to Crystal Fambrini who put this entire event together and to Hang w/, Gavert Atelier and the rest of the amazing sponsors for making this happen!
